Seribu Islands Water Resources Dept. Head, Ahmad Saiful said, these two days his side has repair the broken embankment on the north side of Panggang Island due to hit by east wind waves in last August.

"There are five damaged breakwater locations, which has length around 400 meters. Personnel has started to compile disorganized cubes within this two days," he explained, Thursday (9/14).

He said, his side repairs it by rearranging the cubes and switches the arrangement pattern from 432 pattern into pyramid pattern. His side hopes this pattern is more stronger to block high waves.

"We evaluate cubes arrangement to strengthen the embankment. Because recently high waves are often appears. It is targeted to finish this October," he closed.
